ASTRO 25 Software Solutions Feature Bundles :
The ASTRO 25 Software Solutions program was created to help create more focus on adding features to the existing systems. Since there are many optional features available that may not have been purchased with the initial system purchase, feature bundles were created to make it easier to discuss the benefits, as well as provide an incentive to purchase more features. Available add-on features are bundled into six different Software Sleeves. The Feature Bundles are offered in Gold, Silver, and Bronze level tiers for both APX Radios and the ASTRO25 Infrastructure. Silver tiers include the Bronze features and Gold tiers include both the Silver and Bronze featues.

Ordering Guide:
All of the optional add-on features can still be ordered in the usual a-la-carte fashion when not being sold as part of a Feature Bundle. The ordering details and requirements can be found on each of the respective features’ ECAT pages, ordering guides, and System Planners.
The best way to quote a Feature Bundle is to use the Radio Online Web Edition tool https://rol.mot.com/ROLWeb. This will create equipment lists for each feature bundle based on the specific parameters of your customer’s existing system. The model number structure for the features hasn’t changed; a Feature Bundle simply groups them together on the equipment list. System Integration services can also be quoted using this tool. The next step is to work with the Pricing and Profitibility team to apply the appropriate bundle discount level as well as the specific customer discounts.
When entering an order for a Feature Bundle, a few simple rules must be followed. A separate model number called a “T-Model” has been set up for each Bundle Tier. These model numbers are listed below and will appear on the equipment list generated from the ROLWeb tool. If you are ordering multiple bundles, each bundle must be ordered on a separate Factory Order (F.O.). The T-Model for the bundle must remain on the equipment list with the feature model numbers. This is used for order identifying/tracking purposes.

FLASHport AFTERMARKET UPGRADES
The APX Radios are part of the FLASHport Program. This means that hardware models can be loaded with different software packages that provide the features and functionalities that our customers require.
Remove any feature already enabled in the existing radios' codeplug to avoid order failure. You cannot order an upgrade for an already enabled feature.
System Enhancement Options can be loaded at the time of radio purchase or at a later date through the use of software field upgrades (upgrades can be completed either via a FLASH dongle or through Radio Management.) Radios can be upgraded electronically in the field with new features in the current system or to new systems operation (contingent upon remaining within the same RF sub-band) by ordering upgrade kits.
